The Portfolio Cost Analyzer (PCA) is licensed via the installation of a Validated PCA database.
The PCA database is enabled and licensed to one Entity/Company for use with a particular number of patent filings,
and for time periods measured in one-year increments.

* Also included is cost data maintenance (eg, exchange rates and fees) and basic follow-up support for re-importing from your docketing system.
At the time of renewing the license, any number of filings may be purchased.
If additional filings are purchased (after the initial purchase),
a prorated fee applies (so that all purchases have the same expiration date). Filings may be purchased in "blocks" of any size, with a minimum block size of 500.
The price of the block depends on the number of filings already purchased and the time left to expiration.
Import From Your Docketing System
The PCA can import your patent portfolio from other database(s), such as your docketing system, where you may have already entered the information. Imports are done in batches and utilize a data conversion process that is tailored to your data format.
There is an initial import assistance charge (which is a one-time fee of $2,500) to setup and test the conversion process to be able to import your docketing data into the PCA. This customized data conversion process will also be able to keep the PCA data synchronized with your docketing data via subsequent import batches. Use of the data import program will be part of your PCA license at no further additional charge.
In case your data formats change, consultation and programming for each subsequent import format change will cost a minimum of $750 and
depend on the extent of the change.
During a license term, families that have been analyzed may not be deleted. At the time of renewing the license, any or all may be deleted.
